Abstract submissions for oral presentations are now closed but we are still accepting poster abstracts - these can be submitted here

The AVTRW conference is a relaxed and supportive environment offering the ideal opportunity to present research findings (including those of a preliminary nature) as well as facilitating interaction with other researchers.  All submissions are welcome but the AVTRW particularly encourages early career researchers (including undergraduate students, postgraduate students, interns, clinical residents, and lab technicians) to submit their work.

As in previous years, monetary prizes will be awarded for best first-time presentation as judged by the AVTRW committee. This year the presentation prizes are generously sponsored by CVS Group.

Authors of selected abstracts from this year's conference will have the opportunity be submitted for publication in the official journal of the AVTRW, Research in Veterinary Science, offering an excellent opportunity to have your work published in a peer reviewed journal.

Discounted early bird tickets are available to purchase until 1st August 2024. After this date, full priced tickets will still be available to purchase until the 11th September.

This year we are holding the annual conference dinner on Thursday night at the Courtyard Marriott Keele Hotel offering an excellent opportunity to speak to attendees and presenters in a more informal setting. Tickets are subsidised by the AVTRW to encourage attendance.

The conference fee does not include accommodation but attendees can take advantage of the event discount available at the Courtyard Marriott, Keele if booked before the 31st July 2024 - a link to access the discounted rate will be made available when tickets are purchased.

Attendees must be members of AVTRW to attend the conference, as this allows the Association to subsidise the cost for our members. If you are not already a member, you can pay for your membership through Eventbrite, and then contact the Honorary Secretary at info@avtrw.co.uk who will provide a membership application form for completion.
